Our goal at Cypress Bible Church is to be a church on mission in both word and deed. Being missional begins with an understanding of our true identity in Christ. As God’s ambassadors, we have each been given a ministry and the message of the gospel (2 Corinthians 5:17-21). CBC provides strategic opportunities for members to be equipped for the work of missions. Every member is challenged to be missional in one’s own area of influence and extending to the ends of the earth (Acts 1:8).

Each of us has a unique sphere of influence: our homes, work places, school. As believers, we get to take the good news of Jesus to the people in those areas of our lives.

We also regularly GO to six strategic regions worldwide. These trips partner with local indigenous leaders and missionaries in the work they are doing.
In partnership with the country strategy of our supported global workers and indigenous leaders, the team will provide a three-day financial stewardship training session to the men and women ministry leader's while encouraging and affirming local churches in their pursuit of multiplying disciples and healthy churches.
In partnership with our global workers in South Africa, we will be serving in a township outside of Port Elizabeth called Motherwell. We will be working with 3 local pastors to support their ministries by sharing the gospel, leading Discovery Bible Studies, and leading training programs. The training programs will serve preschool teachers, parents/teachers of children with special needs, entrepreneurs/business owners, high school students, and possibly more. It is a wonderful place to serve and help to expand the Kingdom in Africa, all for the glory of God!
NY Reach Men's 2025: Join the men from CBC as we travel to New York City to share the gospel and make disciples. We will be having conversations with people we meet in parks, at the museums, in the hostel - wherever God presents us with an opportunity to talk to people. We will be praying with them and sharing the gospel with them, as God leads. Our experiences there will enable us to implement these practices once we return home, so that we can be more aware of opportunities in our local community and places of work.
As all believers fulfill their roles in living out the Great Commission (Matt 28:18-20) for some that will look like full-time vocational ministry. We offer training at CBC for those interested in long-term missions work as well as help support over 30 missionaries across the globe.
We offer 6-month internships to learn about the tools and skills of long-term missions work. You will learn about the #NoPlaceLeft vision and tools such as Four Fields and Three Circles to prepare you to serve in a simple, biblical and reproducible way anywhere.

Become a Missionary Advocate! We want to partner your family or bible study with one of our missionaries families to advocate for them as you would if your brother's family was oversees. Starting with building a relationship with the missionary family the advocate family or group would help support them in various ways such as arranging transportation and housing on furlough, updating church on prayer needs, or collecting care packages and cards.
